Privacy Policy

DontCancelYet helps you find out which subscriptions offer a discount, pause, or free month when you try to cancel. This policy covers both the website and the browser extension. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your personal information, and the extension only looks at sites you explicitly turn it on for.
The browser extension
Reading the current tab. When you click the extension, it reads the domain of your active tab to match it to a service and show you the known offer. That matching happens on your device.
Opt-in heads-up mode. On sites you explicitly enable, the extension watches for a cancellation flow and, when it detects one, sends an anonymized “offer sighting” to our servers: the service, the hostname, and the offer text it detected (for example, “50% off for 3 months”). This keeps the shared database current for everyone. It contains no personal information, no account, and no browsing history, and it only happens on sites you turned on.
Stored on your device. Which sites you enabled and which offers you marked “worked” or “didn’t” are kept in your browser’s local storage, not sent to us.
What it never does. It does not read pages on sites you haven’t enabled, track you across the web, inject or rewrite affiliate links, or collect your browsing history.
The website
Reports. The report form collects the service, what happened, and any offer details you type. Please don’t include personal information; reports are anonymous.
Email signups. If you sign up for alerts, we store your email and use it only to send the updates you asked for. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Business inquiries. If you request dataset access, we store the contact details you submit to follow up with you.
Analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand traffic. No cross-site tracking, no ad profiles.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Resend (email). They process data only as needed to run DontCancelYet.
We don’t sell your personal information
The dataset we offer to businesses is aggregated, anonymized information about which companies show which offers at cancellation. It is not built from, and does not include, your personal information.
Your choices
You can disable heads-up mode for any site, or uninstall the extension, at any time. To ask what we hold or request deletion, email support@dontcancelyet.com.
